Just south of Cashiers on Highway 107 is Silver Run Falls. This NC waterfall is an easy hike and very pretty. Mike and I went to see it during the deep freeze.
If you want just want a quick and easy walk to a lovely NC waterfall, you can’t do much better than Silver Run Falls. The trail is less than 1/10 of a mile and well maintained.
The waterfall was thick with ice the day we went. It was amazing to see! In the summer, people swim in the large pool at the bottom of the waterfall, but today it was frozen over.
Silver Run Falls is located on the left side about 4 miles south of Cashiers on Highway 107. There is a sign and a gravel parking lot.
